How do I get my blog (site, gallery, link farm…) indexed fast?
If only I had a penny for every time I heard this question! I would own… let me see, one hundred pennies or so. Not much, after all.
Anyway, the answers is always the same: to get a new site indexed you either link it from an existing site, or submit it to some other site. This way search engine spiders will find it and follow its links.
Trouble is, you can’t do this FAST. Search engine’s computing resources are limited and they will spend most of the time crawling already established sites where people want to go, not the newest kid on the block -even if it’s a wonder kid.
So be patient. Submit to directories as this will generate backlinks slowly and their links can’t hurt (they won’t be great either). Submit to social bookmarking sites, but do this with common sense and good measure.
And avoid pinging google every day! It’s like calling a busy office, do you really expect everybody to drop whatever they are doing and give you immediate unconditioned admiration?
Factor in six months of work to get a blog or site to the point where it will be regularly spidered and big G will return your pings with pleasure. That’s why you should plan ahead and be always at work building the next site(s) rather than focusing on the current one.

WowI’ve considered the evidently simple ways Google works. The truth of the issue is that Google “indexes” your page numerous times, it takes a metric tonne of due effort on your part in order to get your website to become relevent to Google. This lends to my knowledge of search engines.
