Educational Resources for Advertising

In no particolar order, i think that Claude C. Hopkin’s “Scientific Advertising”, Elmer Wheeler’s “Tested sentences that sell” and Dave Ogilvy’s “Ogilvy On Advertising” are still the best books to learn from. I have recently read “Made to Stick” by Chip and Dan Heat, and I think it’s an exceptional book as it’s much more current than the classic textbooks mentioned earlier. However, it does not provide new concepts, rather a whole lot of good, recent, reasearch and case studies. Worth reading, if only to reinforce the idea that you have to stick to the route discovered by the great advertisers of the past.
